One of my favorite items to get in an Italian restaurant is tomato bruschetta served on some delicious ciabatta bread. It is also a great appetizer to provide your guests during delicious holiday or Christmas dinner! This recipe is extremely easy and delicious.
Roasted tomato bruschetta on toasted ciabatta bread |
1 loaf ciabatta bread (or any bread of choice)
2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes
1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette
2 tsp dried basil
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
1. Slice your tomatoes in half and place on a nonstick baking sheet. Roast the tomatoes in the oven at 425℉ for 20 minutes.
2. Once the tomatoes have roasted, pour them into a bowl and add balsamic vinaigrette, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
3. Let the tomatoes marinate and prepare your bread. Pour some olive oil on your bread slices and let them toast until golden brown.
4. Serve your bruschetta with the bread on the side. Enjoy!
