Crumbled Tofu Tacos

Sometimes life can get quite busy and you don't have time to spend in the kitchen. This quick taco recipe is delicious and healthy, while also being super easy to make. 


Easy tofu tacos with guacamole, salsa, and sour cram

Serves: 1 person
2 pre-made corn taco shells 
4 oz tofu (I used extra firm)
1 tbsp taco seasoning
2 tsp lime juice 
1 tbsp cilantro (optional)
1 tbsp salsa
1 tbsp guacamole
1 tbsp sour cream 
1 tbsp cheese (I used Chao)
1 tbsp oil of choice

1. Place your pre-made taco shells in a the oven or toaster oven for 5-6 minutes at 400℉. Make sure to place them turned upside down (with the open side down) to prevent the shell opening from narrowing. 

2. Bring a pan to heat and add oil. Then crumble up tofu and and spread it around. Add a pinch of salt and taco seasoning. Fry the tofu until parts of it become a golden brown. 

3. Once the tofu has cooked, roughly chop up your cilantro and sprinkle over the tofu. Also squeeze some lime juice over it. 

4. It is now time to assemble the taco. Add your vegan cheese, tofu crumble, and then top with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. Serve and Enjoy!
